of Cairo in Egypt with an LLB degree, being placed first in his graduating class. He then joined the judiciary in the Sudan as a legal assistant and was promoted over the course of the next few years to being a judge of the first grade in the Sudan. During this period he worked as a judge in the civil and criminal courts of various provinces of the Sudan.
 
Mr El Amin was sponsored by the Sudanese government for further studies in law at the University of Cairo. He obtained a Diploma in Higher Studies in Private Civil Law in 1972, a Diploma in Higher Studies in Criminal Law in 1973 and a Master’s degree in Law in 1973. Following this period of advanced postgraduate study he returned to the Sudan and continued his judicial work, being promoted to the position of an appellate judge in 1975.
 
In 1976 he was seconded by the government of the Sudan to the government of the UAE and commenced work as a judge in the Al Ain civil and criminal courts in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. At the completion of his secondment period he resigned from the judiciary of the Sudan and continued working as a judge in Al Ain. He was promoted to the Court of Appeal in Al Ain in 1986 and became the President of that Court in 1989. He held this position until his retirement from the judiciary in 1991.
 

From that time on he has been in practice as an advocate in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi and currently operates the Al Ain satellite office of Lutfi and CBP. His lengthy judicial experience and academic achievements have given him a solid grounding for advocacy work in the Abu Dhabi courts in all aspects of UAE law. He is licensed and available to appear in the courts in Abu Dhabi city as well as in courts elsewhere throughout the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
